Bathroom Remodeling

After working with our team for their four previous projects, these homeowners weren’t going to go with any other remodeler for their shore home renovation. Our obstacle was to update their first-floor kitchen and to add another full bathroom to this home. To do this, we had to add multiple walls and create a new opening to the hallway and bedrooms.

For the new full bathroom, we incorporate a classic blue theme, coordinating penny dot accents and white subway tile in the shower. We incorporated a unique patterned flooring and floating shelves so weekend guests can store their toiletries!

In the second set of photos, the homeowners purchased a Ventnor condo for their mother they could live close to one another. The mother wanted a new primary bathroom for herself so she could dedicate the hall bathroom to visiting guests.

Our obstacle was to find a space for this new bathroom, and we decided to use the existing closet in the main bedroom for the new, full bathroom. This condo is in a high-rise building, which can be tricky to add plumbing. Our solution was to raise the floor of the shower so the water could drain to the pump behind the toilet. The sink and toilet are also diverted into this pump and routed to the main drain system.

The raised shower floor features mosaic tile and the wall tile stands out with glass accents. Finally, we installed grab bars in the shower so the mother could avoid slips and falls.

Now, this family has two beautiful bathrooms in two separate homes!
