This bathroom previously had a small corner tub and a very dated look. The homeowners wanted a new tub where they would be able to soak, relax, and enjoy the views from their bathroom windows. They also wanted the space to be somewhat modern yet transitional.

Originally, the faucet for the tub should’ve been on the shower’s side, but we were able to flip the plumbing to the exterior wall so they could enjoy the view outside their bathroom windows. Special insulation techniques were used to prevent freezing pipes.

Notice the slight design detail of moving the tub forward which helped create a convenient shelf to display the homeowners’ favorite things.

Additionally, the new design called for a larger, modern shower with decorative tile that has a unique, 3D texture to it. And, to add even more texture, a Pebblestone tile was laid for the shower floor, which massages the homeowners’ feet while they shower. Outside of the shower, beautiful luxury vinyl tile flooring was installed.

Finally, to keep with the homeowners’ theme, we installed a decorative tile backsplash over the new double vanity. These homeowners wanted a more functional bath and quite a few different textures for this space, and we were able to accomplish just that!
