Blending two styles into one collective look and feel can be a challenge, but Melissa worked with these homeowners to make it happen!
Inspired by their love of the Polynesian Hotel in Disney, they wanted to combine the Polynesian elements you see in the shower with modern and warm accents throughout the bathroom. Melissa Firth, Remodeling Designer, and Shawn Mertz, Project Manager, put their hands to work and developed a luxurious retreat that would stand the test of time.
The focal point of the space is the shower area, featuring dark large format tiles to evoke a sense of elegance and depth. Pulling the black into the rest of the bathroom, we used black fixtures and accents on the vanity and walls.
In contrast, the rest of the bathroom was designed with modern, warm tones to create a welcoming and soothing atmosphere. The pebble-like floor and the earthy look and feel of the vanity along with brighter lighting accents add a touch of vibrancy to the space.
Luxury and comfort found a home in this remodeled, Polynesian-inspired bathroom in Voorhees and the homeowners are now enjoying the memories of their favorite vacation spot each day.
