Bathroom Remodeling

An accessible bathroom remodel was crucial for this homeowner’s brother, whom she was caring for at her home. The existing bathroom lacked the much-needed additional functionality that he required. It also was in need of a makeover to be more inviting and comfortable for the other family members and visiting guests to use.

The final design had us removing the tub and installing a spacious walk-in shower with a bench for her brother to sit on while bathing. Showerheads and faucets were placed in a better reach for everyone.

The homeowner despised the awkward swinging door that was between the laundry room to the bathroom, so our designer Krista McLaverty decided to replace it with a barn door for easy access and to add interest to the room.

It’s not every day that you can truly change the life of a homeowner. Krista really helped this family with their daily routines with this new, inviting and functional bathroom and laundry room space.
