Homeowners Vince and Stephen came to Cipriani Remodeling Solutions looking to change their entire downstairs from jewel tones to current transitional colors. Our Remodeling Designer, Anne van de Rijn, started by working with them to update their kitchen with a fresh new look that combined design and functionality.
Anne removed a pantry closet which gave them a better cabinet flow. Her goal was to eliminate clutter on the counter and tuck the essentials in accessible cabinets and drawers. They now have a coffee station in the pantry cabinet and a phone and computer charger in a drawer. Notice there are no small appliances on the countertops. That’s because we focused on the kitchen contents and designed the layout around proving enough space for everything and maximizing function. The lighting above the crown molding made a big impact and tied in perfectly with the under cabinet lighting. The wood tone island worked well with their existing floor and the quartz counter offered a neutral taupe vein which tied everything together. The gorgeous new kitchen and a fresh coat of paint throughout the first floor transformed this home.
