These homeowners were looking to add more space for family time as well as entertainment when hosting parties. They also wanted a new, functional mudroom and a new entrance to the home.
First, we designed this spacious family room addition along with a stylish adjacent wine bar for cocktail events. We then added warm touches with shiplap details and a Mendota fireplace – perfect for warming up in the cold winter months.
In the wine bar, custom cabinets were incorporated with a dishwasher, sink, ice machine and a wine and beverage cooler.
A cathedral ceiling with exposed beam work was installed and new skylights provide the family with a breathtaking view of the stars.
Finally, in the mudroom, we designed a durable tile floor and custom cabinetry for bench storage. It’s obvious when you look at this design that it was worthy of its Best Residential Addition award from the Builders League of South Jersey’s 2019 MAME Awards.
