Ellen and Sam thought they needed an addition in order to make their kitchen more efficient. And the cost of an entire addition was more than they wanted to spend. Enter Cindy Cipriani and her creative planning.
The home was built with a small eating area with very small windows through which the couple couldn’t see their beautiful back yard. The space was useless and ended up as a walk through from the kitchen to the outside deck. Cindy looked at the total area, including the back yard and found a way to reconfigure everything without putting on an addition.
Cindy recommended opening the wall between the kitchen and family room so they could see out the family room windows at their beautiful pool. They enlarged the windows in the eating area and re-arranged the kitchen layout to use all the space available. The result is an open area which is perfect for entertaining guests and hosting large family dinners.
The creativity that Cindy brought to the project saved over $50,000 and months of upheaval in their home. And Ellen and Sam have a beautiful new kitchen that was received a MAME award from the Builders League of South Jersey.
