Kitchen Remodeling

Williamstown, NJ

The homeowners felt there was nothing appetizing about their lackluster kitchen.   More storage and counter space were long overdue.  Mismatched tile and faux brick backsplashes were dated and worn.  The old cabinets and drawers, as well as some of the appliances, were in a state of disrepair.  It was time to renovate.

Since space is at a premium, we removed a half wall to add the new peninsula, a beautiful replacement for the old moveable island.  Modern pendant lighting now hangs where the peekaboo wall opening was previously located.

The new peninsula cabinetry and countertop, as well as the glass front upper cabinets, provide lots of storage and prep space. A new pantry cabinet located to the right of the stove provides even more valuable storage and allows easy access to dry goods when cooking. A corner lazy susan cabinet takes advantage of former “dead space” and large drawers for storage were installed to the right of the refrigerator.

Ice blue glass tile bounces more light back into the small space.  The old “butcher-block look” countertops were replaced by Cambria Quartz, and new CoreTec luxury vinyl tile floors were installed.   We also replaced the old sliding door in the dining room to the yard as part of this renovation.
