This outdated kitchen with its oak cabinets and restricting peninsula was overdue for a transformation.

Our Remodeling Designer Anne van de Rijn set out to create a transitional style kitchen encompassing both beauty and functionality.

Like many busy homes this year, these homeowners asked for a multi-faceted and functional workspace. Simple design ideas, such as incorporating charging stations for their tech needs, was easy to add to the plan. Outlets were lowered and placed horizontally to help hide appliance cords. Not a standard practice but it made a big difference to the owners.

New cabinets were installed with subtle arch details over the range hood and serving cabinetry that complemented the arched window over the sink.

Quartzite counters, Conestoga cabinets and new hardwood floors throughout were the perfect choice for low maintenance, ease of use and beauty.

No more mud being tracked through this home thanks to newly renovated mudroom space to leave kids’ shoes and book bags.

What an awesome reward it is to develop a space that our homeowners can enjoy for many years to come. A space that is both functional and custom-made specifically with their daily lifestyle in mind.
