Kitchen Remodeling

Sadly, this Moorestown family had a small fire with a lot of smoke damage in their home, which destroyed much of their kitchen.  Fortunately, all were safe and our designer, Anne van de Rijn, was able to reconfigure the kitchen and give them a bright and beautiful space with an island.  The previous peninsula blocked the flow and function of the kitchen.

Anne created a stylish kitchen space using shaker-style cabinets and a little touch of farmhouse décor. She was able to beautifully blend together contemporary and farmhouse styles along with grey ceramic subway tiles and glass mosaic tile behind the stove. She also designed a darker gray island to contrast with the rest of the light white cabinetry. The sandstone luxury vinyl tile floor has hints of gray in the light tan color, which works well with the cabinetry and countertop. The flooring runs into a new eating nook area with a coffee station and nice natural lighting. The white cabinets, contrasting gray island and beautiful complimentary floors really make a statement.  A granite countertop was chosen which pulled all the colors together.   The existing sink had a bit of history, but it was in poor condition.  Instead of replacing it, we took the time to refinish the sink and made it look brand new.   They love the banquette in the corner of the kitchen, it is a perfect little place for morning coffee.

The kitchen was transformed into a perfect space for this family to host parties and to spend quality time during breakfast and dinner!
