These Medford homeowners wanted to bring their existing kitchen out of the 90’s. Having moved into their Medford home a few years earlier, they had some ideas but no clear direction.
More storage was a priority, as well as a larger range to replace their existing 30” stove.
One of the challenges we faced was that we lost some storage space by adding the larger range, but we made up for it by adding some storage above the range and refrigerator, and by making the cabinet footprint slightly larger. Originally, the owners had an island in mind for the kitchen, but our 3D design showed that a peninsula in the space made more sense.
Other features that complete the new look and functionality are marble countertops, a Kohler 8 sink, Insert Range Hood with Decorative Cabinet & Trim, Decorative legs and panels at the end of the peninsula, new subway tile, and a water filtration system.
The rustic floors and wainscoting add a nice contrast with the elegant marble counters, champagne bronze fixtures, and white shaker style cabinetry. It’s exactly what these owners had hoped for in their new kitchen!
