Empty-nesters in Collingswood, NJ loved their American two-story home (also known as a “Foursquare”), but needed more space.

The best option was to utilize some unused space in the backyard that would allow us to add additional square footage to the home. After a conversation with the homeowner, we realized their primary need for a new media room and den.

The new media room and den addition features a cathedral ceiling with large windows designed to let in light, and the circle top is a unique focal point in the room.

Newly installed, hand-scraped rustic hardwood floors are in keeping with the classic flooring of the rest of the home.
