Home Addition

This family wanted a larger kitchen for entertaining guests, so we designed this kitchen addition for them. The homeowner loves to cook and wanted a special place on their counter top to keep their heavy mixer. The solution was to take down the half-wall between the living room and kitchen to open the space to allow for an island. A buffet area was also created with cabinets to showcase the family’s beautiful dishes and wine selection.

When we went before the zoning board, for the addition variance, the board loved the unique design so much that they said they wished all the additions in Cherry Hill would look like this.

Kitchens in general have become such a focal point for families, whether it’s cooking, entertaining or game night. Now this family has a space that serves all of those functions!
