We have had the pleasure of completing several projects for the Schlegel family’s Cherry Hill home over the years. This time, they came to us with a screened-in porch that needed to be completely rebuilt. On rainy days, water would build up on the roof, and the sidewalk that ran between the porch and detached garage. This porch was from the original owner and was slowly deteriorating.

Within the existing footprint for the porch area, Sue Faramelli designed a new space along with a breezeway connecting the roof to keep them dry every season. This new porch was designed to have all new windows, doors, electrical system, insulation… even shiplap and stained wood finishes. To assist with better drainage, our team also installed a new concrete pad outside the porch area.

We are big on the details at Cipriani, so Sue even made sure the concrete floor was stained for a cohesive look and feel.

This family loves this remodeled porch and plans to spend many hours enjoying it throughout the year without the rain finding a way in.
