Kitchen Remodel | Cherry Hill, NJ
This Cherry Hill home has been in the family for generations, so rather than moving the homeowners decided to remodel.
The first project was a primary hall bath remodel. While we got started on that (view the project here), they decided to modernize the kitchen as well.
They each had their own distinct style and preferences, but our Remodeling Designer, Melissa Firth, was able to blend their styles together in a way that left them both happy with their new kitchen.
We gave the space a modern, minimalist feel by using slab doors and warmed up the space by using a dark tone for the island. They often host family for dinners and holidays, so the working space was vital. For the same reason, we opened up the kitchen with a pass-through to the living room to create an open concept.
Refinishing the wood floors and finishing the kitchen off with bright-colored accents made the neutral elements pop and brought the space to life.

Kitchen Remodel | Haddonfield, NJ
This Haddonfield family was trying to make the best of their small, compartmentalized kitchen before they called us.
Kelsey Glenn, one of our Remodeling Designers, designed an entirely new and functional layout with updated cabinets, countertops and flooring.
Lighting was another focus for this space. The design allows the natural light to illuminate the space throughout the day.
In addition to including opportunities for natural light in the design, the lighting fixtures Kelsey used are especially showcased from the loft area that runs over the kitchen.
This was a unique project that left a wonderful family with a new, open, and functional kitchen to enjoy!
Kitchen Remodel | Moorestown, NJ
When the Russo family called us they were trying to make the best of their existing kitchen, which was original to their house built in the 1970s.
In addition to wanting to transition to a modern design, they wanted the extensive soffits within the kitchen removed as they were making the space feel small and dark.
As a family of four with several dogs and a husband who is a professional chef using the kitchen regularly, this small dark kitchen was in need of changes.
Kathryn, the Russo’s Remodeling Designer, prepared custom solutions that not only addressed each of their chief complaints but made the space far more functional with a design that flowed with the rest of the home.
To start, we removed a half wall that separated the living area and the kitchen and expanded the kitchen into an underutilized adjoining room to create an open, free-flowing space for cooking and entertaining. We also addressed Mr. Russo’s slight visual impairment through a detailed lighting plan that included additional recess LED lights, under-cabinet lighting, and ample natural light.
Of note are both the waterfall countertop used on the island and the pull-out utensil drawer within the cabinetry. This family was left with a gorgeous, functional kitchen for cooking and entertaining that is professional chef-approved!
Kitchen Remodel | Marlton, NJ
When this Marlton homeowner called us, they had a small kitchen that was not serving them well in terms of being functional.
By the time her Remodeling Designer, Anne, and Project Manager, Shawn, were done she called her new kitchen a dream come true! With a heavy focus on function, Anne designed a beautiful space that Shawn and his team brought to life.
We removed a wall between the dining area and kitchen, and a closet that opened from the foyer hallway to create a more open layout and add more space to the kitchen without having to build out from the house. From there, we added a collection of special, custom touches. For example, there is a pull-out for the dog’s food and water bowls, shelves tucked into the wall, and open shelving for cookbooks.
To accommodate the family’s lifestyle, we added an island and peninsula because they love to cook, a coffee station, and a new closet off of the living room. We were able to make their kitchen more functional without sacrificing storage needs while still adding fun features!
“I have been dreaming of this kitchen for 20+ years. Anne came in and listened to everything I wanted and created it to a tee. Nick and Rich listen to everything I wanted or needed to change. These past holidays were great with everyone in the kitchen helping with the cooking, laughing and making memories! Thank you all for making my dream come true.” – K. Griffin
